A rare #2 all original beauty. No rust.
No flaws in the new buffed lacquer paint job - no clearcoat.
Reupholstered in tan mohair. All windows clear and functional. New
wide white sidewall tires. Chrome in superior condition. On the hood
emblem, the “C” in BUICK is missing. Running boards perfect with
no rust. Headliner is perfect. All lights in working order
except the right rear, and the owner has installed an additional small
supplementary brake light below the rear window. Original forg lamps and both
outside rear-view mirrors. The original in-line eight engine has been completely reconditioned.
The car starts on first try and runs and drives extremely
well. Engine runs cool. The only modification under the hood is
a throw switch on the battery for ease of disconnection a
fire prevention measure the current owner installs on all his cars.
It still has an original equipment fuel pump but an electronic fuel
pump has been installed as a back up. Matching numbers undetermined.
Original start switch is in the accelerator pedal, with a starter
button as back-up. The fuel, amp, and temp gauges work, but speedometer
gauge does not though there are extra working speedometer and Fuel/amp
gauges that come with the car, as well as working replacement wiper
motor and arms that just need to be installed. Radio does
not work. Car also comes with a spare transmission. There are
no problems with the trans on the car. Suspension and brakes
in perfect working condition. Because it is a show
car, it should be trailered, but distance driving would not be a
problem for the car. All serious offers considers. This rare car
