| 1980 OLDSMOBILE 442 3,000.00 - This is a 1980 442 of which less than 900
were made. Some where black and gold and others were white
and gold. This is the only model of cutlass that Olds
put a 350 engine in (nearly 500,000 cutlasses of various types were
made that year). This car needs a total restoration. The
paint is shot, though it looks kind of good in the pictures.
The body has many minor dings as you can see from
the pictures. There is no real rust except for some scale
in the passenger floor pan, I don't think it rusted through.
There is also rust in the underneath edge of the trunk lid.
I have an extra dash that will go with the car
if the buyer wants it. This is essentially te same car
as the 1978-79 H/O without the hurst shifter. Olds did away
with the Hurst designation and called it a 442 instead. The
442 did not re-appear in 1981. The orst part of the
car is the interior (see pics). The car drives but the
brakes have a soft pedal and the trans leaks fluid, A/C compressor
clutch does not engage (low freon?). There is also a slight
pull to one side in the steering, though the car has not
been in any major wrecks. A truly rare car for the
person looking for a project. The car has been sitting in my
drive way or years now and I have not had time to
