1964 PLYMOUTH VALIANT 25,000.00 - This is a very rare, stock, Canadian Valiant, 3-speed, slant-6, 225 cu. in. It has 37k actual miles, and has just been restored. It was shown at the 20th Annual MOPAR Nationals in St. Louis, in September, and took First Place in it's class, A-Body Stock. It was shown in March at the 45th Annual World of Wheels in Kansas City, and took first place again, against Vintage Mustangs & Camaros. The car is finished inside and out. The trunk & engine compartments are detailed right down to the reproduced original fender tag. The underside has been sandblasted and finished in black, semi-gloss POR-15. In the 3 years that I have owned it, I have only found a handful other 1964 Canadian Valiants, and I have searched most of the MOPAR Clubs in Canada. My searches found 3 convertibles, and 2, 2-door sedans. NONE were original. I suspect that this 4-door sedan, if not the only survivor, is certainly the best 4-door sedan left in existence. I can not prove that, but I haven't even found ONE, 4-door sedan, in any condition in my search. I have contacted Chrysler Canada, and they have told me that all the production records on these cars were destroyed in the early 1980s. I do have the American Production records, but I am told they do not include the Canadian Production figures. The Canadian model is very different from the American models. The Canadian model is actually a 1964 Dodge Dart Platform, with the front clip (e.g. fenders, hood grill, bumper) of a 1964 American Valiant, with all the Valiant emblems & badges. I have a description of these emblems and badges from Chrysler Canada, and all badges & emblems are where they are supposed to be. I have attempted to have this car appraised, but have determined myself, from speaking to several appraisers, that this car really cannot be accurately appraised, because there are NO comparables. I really have no earthly idea what the car is worth. However, if you want to own a rare piece of Chrysler history, this is it. 1968 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS 22,000.00 - 1968 Camaro.
