1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 42,500.00 - This is a low production
four speed W-30 442 in yellow. The hood is a W-25
unit with the OAI breather; that is open air induction.
The wheels are optional Oldsmobile Super Stock I wheels.
The rear spoiler is the W-35 option available on '70 W-30's.
The rear bumper is 442 equipment with cut outs
for the trumpet exhaust tips. Under the hood is
the numbers matching 370 horsepower 455, torque is 500 foot pounds at
3600 RPM. The W-30 power plant has a factory
aluminum intake manifold, F Series heads and a F Series block.
Manual disc brakes and red inner fenders ear mark the
W-30 compartment. The four speed transmission is a Hurst
shifted Muncie 4 speed. The rear differential is a
12 bolt, O type with boxed control arms, frame braces and W27
aluminum cover. The interior is a Strato bucket seat
interior, with pebble grain vinyl. The steering wheel is
an Oldsmobile sport four spoke wheel. Instrumentation is a
Ralley Pac Gauge cluster with tachometer. Also included is
a windshield washer system, factory AM/FM radio, driver side remote mirror, and
BF Goodrich radials. This car is the high water
mark of the Oldsmobile 442 W30.
